Candidate Statement:
Throughout my tenure as Communications Director my goal was to raise the profile of ASID by educating the public about what our professional organization is all about and what designers can do to improve peoples’ lives. I accomplished this through my many newspaper and magazine articles as well as the first ever Las Vegas Showcase House. The presidency of our chapter will only help me to further these goals and bolster our chances for gainful employment in these challenging times.

Candidate Statement:
If selected as a chapter leader my mission would be to elevate and strengthen the professional practice of Interior Design in the Fresno/Nevada region. Strengthen the membership, visibility, and the credibility of the ASID brand name through public awareness and education. This could be done in conjunction with teaming up with non profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanities. Another might be a series of informational lectures at different businesses that will not only promote ASID but local businesses hit by the recession.
